Arraya’s Cyber Security Director to Present at National Technology Conference

March 20, 2017 – Arraya Solutions announced today that Tom Clerici, Director, Cyber Security, will be presenting at the Mortgage Bankers Association’s National Technology in Mortgage Banking Conference & Expo. This annual conference welcomes technology leaders representing mortgage lenders from across the country. Topics covered during the conference, which runs from March 26 – 29, include emerging trends, new regulations, and other technology developments affecting the industry.

This year, the conference will consist of 23 concurrent sessions, divided into four tracks: Cyber Security; Data, Analytics, & Standards; Emerging Technology; and Regulatory & Compliance. Clerici, who previously served as co-chair of the MBA’s Information Security Working Group, will present two sessions during the conference, both of which are in the Cyber Security track.

On Monday, March 27, Clerici will present “Developing, Implementing and Maintaining a Security Program” alongside Robert D’Urbano, Freedom Mortgage’s Chief Information Officer. In this session, Clerici will leverage his real world experience to familiarize attendees with the challenges they could face as they build an environment that addresses their security and budgetary needs.

Clerici’s second session, “Hardening Your System with Secure Configurations,” will take place on Tuesday, March 28. This session will offer attendees insight into configuration options that can significantly reduce the likelihood of a successful cyber-attack against their organization.

“The Mortgage Bankers Association has spent a lot of time focusing on helping its members mature their cyber security programs,” Clerici said. “It’s really exciting to see them now dedicate an entire track to security. It’s certainly an honor to come back again this year and speak to them, this time representing Arraya Solutions and our vision for a more secure enterprise.”
